Ascari vs Zunji
My half of a trade with my rad mate Adam Anderson with his character Zunji. Sorry again for taking forever to get this done, but I need to get rid of this art debt I still have D:
Was fun painting something mechanical again and finally put good to use of that Ascari ref sheet I made last year.
Planned to have Zunji spraying everywhere, but this allowed it to be more focused on the two.
Cheers to Kev, Flo, Mr Beck and ATA for their thoughts on this too!

Foreign Manners
After years of pissing about, I finally got round to doing my half of an old art trade with my rad art bro Alex
I like doing this trade theme of what our characters would do if they met up. I love food (Cha owns), and I loved how they ate in Fantastic Mr Fox, so a fun ref back to that :]
And here is a process of this pic (hit this link if you want a larger size to read the text)
Thanks to ATA, Beck, and Alex for their crit during this pic!

MTM's!
Finally finished a new piece I've been working up since March :U
Here we have a young Ascari sitting on the back of a MTM when he was in the military. He hated riding them as he felt pretty vulnerable on them.
Was inspired a while back to have a go at my own Big Dog robot design after seeing a bunch online, but thought it would make a useful multi terrain machine for transporting troops and tons of extra gear. Thought having six legs would be more stable, as it will always have three points of contact when traversing, and adjusts each leg independently to keep the ride flat for the riders. At the end of each leg is a multi grabber ball foot with a surface coating like a gecko/badzooks for the ultimate gripping ability.
Chur you fullas at work who helped me during this pic!
Might paint up the mid ground fullas in the daytime setting.
Was also asked to do this convention book cover, so kept it simple so it could be done quickly :V

Been a bit more active this year with personal painting. Have recently sorted out my half of two trade pictures that were owing for some time. The first is with a old mate of mine Krhainos who love his snowboarding. and cheers to Mr. Pushbak for the assistance on logos!
And secondly with the talented Captain Hanni character Rustam looking fancy with a glass of cognac.
Got more on the way and cheers for looking :U

Victorian Natilla
Finally got round to finishing the last image of this series!
Thought it would be interesting at doing some female attire from the 19th Century, but also got me thinking about developing Natilla's character some more.
I was inspired by image of a Victorian prosthetic arm that did the rounds a while ago and thought it would be rad to design one of these too.
Thanks to Tobin and Beck for the pointers on this too!

Saw drifto
I was hella stoked when Paul asked me to add some art to the white cloud worlds book, and when I saw the three pieces he chose, I thought I would do something new for it. I had already started on this piece a month before, so I thought I would finish it off for it.
ATA helped me find a better composition so shout outs to him, and skull 4 a face for the stars!
The v-twin circular saw is a silly idea that wouldn't work, so to make it more ridiculous I would let have a go at the rad sport of drifting!
This was a fun piece to do as I got to draw tons of sparks and that cat with a cell phone lighting the way in his mouth, and a FD chasing hard :]
I added a blurry bung thing below the corner sign that isn't in the book version. I thought I would add this creature wandering in the background in future illustrations with these characters as it is what it does.
There was another vehicle I wanted to put in the pic, but thought it would have an unfair power advantage and look too BA.
so this got shopped in instead :U

Page full of thungs
Been sketching away at this pic for over a year (yeah I'm hella slow!) but finally got them all together and pencilled them up on a single page with some real simple shading. Might colour it one day when I get bored of css maybe.
Pretty much a bunch of characters I created when I started drawing and have slowly evolved over time. Building up their back stories, and illustrating moments I might find interesting.
Thanks Leri for helping out with the composition and bits along the way too!
Cheers for dropping by!

You never chose me...
Sketched this years ago when I worked retail at the old Gamesman shop with boss sandwich doctor. I decided to have a quick go at using some soft brushes to paint this one up for a change.
Kinda frightening the thought of being a pokemon and being put in Bill's PC forever D:
